Probably is tried to do the pose without looking at the model. Will redo when back. When I'm practicing on human anatomy I try to work on certain parts of the body first. Once I get sorta ok with the head and neck I move on to the upper body. After enough practice I move on to the arms, and then the back (or lower body. Whichever order) and etc etc. I try to work on the hands and feet last. It sure as heck won't look perfect or great, but I get a pretty good idea of where each part should go and how they should move. I'm still practicing on male characters with human anatomy before I start the female ones since it's easier to notice how the muscle looks/works on most males anatomies.
