that is a reoccurring problem for me.

Pepper plants self pollinate primarily by way of insects. Get a qtip/paintbrush/finger/etc and go crazy on the little flowers you see.

i'll try that next year (just lost all my pepper plants to the tropical storm) but i dont think a lack of pollinators was the issue, someone nearby has a bee hive so my yard is constantly buzzing with bees. i really think its been the heat, i think the flowers die when you have blistering hot temps. though its possible that i just need more variety, since some plants generate fruits from its own pollen at a very low level and i think i only planted one line of peppers.
