Which is part of why I disliked that the MCU basically shitcanned most of his actual character, and Mockingbird got dumped off on Agents of SHIELD (where they stuck her with a Hawkeye expy whose personality is actually closer to the real thing). If they gave movie Hawkeye something resembling a personality and played up the buddy cop dynamic with Widow (which arguably WAS a thing in the comics as well, even earlier than the Hawkeye/Mockingbird relationship), I'd probably enjoy a team-up movie between the two.
