He always performs a little worse than people expect, even though it's really at the level he should be. He's a solid midcarder but people are never satisfied with that because We Like Ike. The Proto Man match is a good example of that - it was seen as him dropping the ball even though Proto Man was close to him in the 2010 stats. I want Joel to be good but he won't be. Last of Us was pretty good in Games 2015, so I could see him being high fodder, maybe even approaching the low midcard position, but I don't think he clears the Ness hurdle. Being a normal-looking dude on GameFAQs is hard.
