Lower the drinking age, raise the consequences.

Young people are terrible when it comes to thinking about consequences, so it's an ineffective strategy.

Immediately suspend license for minimum one year, regardless of age.

Because kids don't drive on suspended licenses? >_> Even adults do that.

Or raise the minimum draft age to 21.

The draft hasn't actually been used in over 30 years. Men register at 18 (because sexism), but nobody has been called.

Or just lower it for active military members.

Also a better option.

I have a better idea. Let's raise the voting, involuntary military service (voluntary can remain 18), and age to get a drivers license all to 21. All three would save thousands of lives and dollars

How would raising the age of involuntary service save lives when involuntary service isn't used in the first place and enlistment costs remain the same no matter when you register somebody? >_>

Well, ya - that's kinda what I'm saying - it's inconstant that they are different. I'd rather they are lowered, so as to match .... EARTH, but ya

Why should they be the same? There's no logical justification for it. It might make sense for voting and military service because both are citizenship issues, but health issues are unrelated.
