There are a ton of types of cancer, they require different kinds of treatment and to my knowledge cannabis cant cure anything, it can at best manage symptoms

If it was legalized here I would give marijuana a shot. Probably not smoking it though, I would prefer edibles. Also, and I may be wrong here, but some people have said it kills cancer. From what I understand it doesn't exactly kill cancer cells, instead it just inhibits the growth of more cancer cells. Again I might be wrong on that, more information may have come to light since I did my research a year or so ago.

CBD promotes homeostasis within the cells. Cancer is abnormal cell growth. Therefore CBD helps to slow it down.

THC is effective for nausea and appetite, especially for those going through chemo.

Both are compounds within cannabis. Different strains have different ratios of each. Legalization allows people to pick strains that specifically benefit them, rather than buying an eighth of whatever off the street.

People who are against medicinal cannabis either don't know what they are talking about, like to see people suffer, think they know what's best for people, or most likely all of the above
