Watched Hanebado. This was excellent! Animation was super good, probably the best I've seen in a sports series. Story and characters were nice too. The villains were kind of over the top evil, but that made it even more satisfying when Ayano crushed them into dirt. The characters in general were quite good. Basically all of them had solid character development, and the show gave a good feel for who they all were. They didn't feel like they were just generic archetypes like some sports show characters do. The two mains were both a lot of fun in their own ways. I like Nagisa's angry style, and ceaseless determination. Like even getting crushed in a match only makes her play harder. And then Ayano was just the best. I wasn't really sure about her in the first couple episodes, where she seems so meek and reluctant about everything, but her development over the course of the series was super entertaining, both her natural development early on, and then totally going insane later. Having the main character of the series be the ones who dishes out all the put-downs made me smile all the time, and her empty eyes and evil smiles were so fucking hot. Sports anime needs more trash talking <3
