Not to mention, physical injuries are far less complicated to treat than mental issues are. Sure, friends can potentially help if you're just feeling a little down but for deeper issues it's best to ya know... seek help from someone who has actually went to school for mental health. Plus, like mead said, he may not have friends like that. Not everyone does. All you're doing is discouraging him from getting the help he needs which i happen to think is pretty lousy of you. You'd rather get on a high horse about something than recommend the best option Even if TC does have friends like that, they're under no obligation to try and help him when he's a) clearly unstable and b) not willing to listen to reasonable advice. If his first response to not receiving advice from his friends is to get advice from total strangers only to just brush them off for offering said advice, he's probably not looking for actual advice anyway and just wants people to tell him how none of this is his fault.
