I don't think the general public are all PETA members.

But even those who are hunters were disgusted by him posting that photo and bragging that he'd killed baby baboons. My father and brothers have hunted deer, pheasants and ducks for decades in order to feed our family. Real hunters know that it's not 'sporting' to kill defenseless prey such as female deer, female ducks sitting on nests, and baby animals, which is why this jerk's bragging about wiping out a family of baboons 'disgusted' them so much.
