Why do non-Americans not have knife monsters in every room of their house?

I've never understood this.

Just prancing around, smoking cigarettes, eating one meal a day, working 2 hours per week, never paying for health insurance, driving on the wrong side of the road, pretending to hate America while simultaneously planning their next vacation here, and not having knife monsters in their sinks.

Foreigners are fucking weird.
