In all seriousness though, dash cam footage is not admissible in the "getting a ticket" sense, only footage from an approved law camera can do that (traffic cams for example). They are only good for insurance claims, so best he could hope for is to have his insurance refuse to pay for damage to my car. Plus even if it was, he would be in as much trouble as me because tailgating is illegal as well, and his footage is clearly going to show he was doing that. --- I am a senior software engineer.
