Topic	Michigan Woman is DENIED MEDICATION from a PHARMACIST because he's CHRISTIAN!!!

Our legal right to refuse to fill shouldn't be a platform for you to shove your religious beliefs down peoples' throats. It should be used in the best interest of the patient or to protect your own license from stupid drug abusers. I cannot fathom why he went on to ensure she couldn't get it filled by refusing to transfer or not allowing a coworker to fill it. He already was pushing his limits by refusing to fill, that was just asinine to go that much further. If he was that adamant about not believing the patient, he should've called the doctor's office to verify the story (although I'm sure they wouldn't have been thrilled with a call like that). Overall, that pharmacist dropped the ball in every respect and I do not agree nor respect his decision in any capacity. As I said, we're not here to shove beliefs down our patients' throats. We're here to keep them healthy. The pharmacist should have either let someone else fill it, get it transferred, or at the very least given the prescription back to the customer so they could choose a new pharmacy.
