Through the draft, you will ultimately end up with two or three star caliber players while your team is on a downswing. The good teams surround that talent while building, or use the star caliber players as assets in trades to make their team better. The good franchises don't miss on draft picks, and don't miss on the trades they make. The bad ones do.
