Why would you agree that someone should be punished for breaking an unjust law? That's not the question at hand though. But yeah, it's ridiculous that it's legal in some states and illegal elsewhere. He did buy it legally, and for his own personal use. But he should have known better than travel with it to states where it's illegal. He should have hidden it better, at the very least, not to get caught. Ok I had gone through the original post a bit fast.. Seeing how much of it he was carrying, yeah it's totally deserved, and not unjust at all, he's lucky he didn't get more than that.
