As far as the murders go, the events in each episode are vague enough in my mind that I don't have a clear culprit for each one. I do however heavily suspect Shannon being involved. Her being a servant gives her special privileges, she could easily be dressing up as Beatrice and there's the whole Shannon/Sayo split that could be used to slip around some red text. As a killer I believe she fulfills the Decalogue's rules. Even Natsuhi mentioned something suspicious about her in the last episode.

If I can believe that Battler has the actual truth, and he's correct that he is the culprit of Episode 5 as well as the Mysterious Man, then his origins become more clear. He is that child, and for some reason Rudolf was able to save and/or eventually raise him as his own son. The question is, what happened to the real Battler? Beatrice, IIRC, mentioned that the Real Battler would know of the sin. Did the real Battler do something bad, and through this a series of events occurred that eventually resulted in the Battler we know taking his place?

If I had to guess at what Beatrice is after, then it would have to be to get Battler to understand the truth of his origins and what occurred in the past. But why would she care about that? That I don't know specifically. Could it be that the Beatrice we see is a representation of the person Battler committed this sin against, and once he announces the truth we will SEE the truth as well?
