There's literally no benefit to jailing him for this. That's my point. Throwing him in jail ruins his family and makes the country worse in the long term. He didn't ruin his family, enforcing this backwards law did. If the cops looked the other way, everyone would have been better off.


A person who knowingly commits such a big felon shouldn't have kids period. He knowingly risked his family. People like that don't deserve it because that's terrible parenting. And it doesn't make the country worse. He was a musician, he will be fine.

I would if I had access to it. I bought a pound once and never sold any of it.

Even if he had been intending to sell it I don't see that as a reason to jail him either, but that's a different argument for a different topic.

Because if weed was gonna be sold, it Should be in a business where highschoolers and gradeschools can't get it. That restriction doesn't exist on the street
