To me it's not really that scary, it does have it's jump scares though. It's just a well written and acted story.


By the end of episode 5, I'll wonder if you still think it's not scary, lol.

There was an article I saw about how the show actually led some people to be unable to sleep with the lights off or even vomit, and while I think that is just silly, the horror here is not solely in the jump scares and ghouly images. Both of those exist in the show, but they aren't overused. Jump scares are very seldom, but timely. It's the story that can get horrifying, and it takes some time in the series to build up to some of the more unsettling aspects.


I plan on watching a few episodes before I go to bed tonight. I'll update tomorrow lol.
