My wife and I both caught about 90-100 beldum in the half of community day we participated in.
They give you and hour after it ends to evolve them to Metagross and get the special move.
I had a regular 98% and a shiny 67% that I evolved.
For her it was a regular 96% and a shiny 62%.
So I told her to 'fully evolve them before 3pm', taking for granted that she knew what that meant.
She evolved them both only one time and I didn't notice until after 3. So she had 2 very good Metangs, which got evolved 8 minutes after the window of opportunity and did NOT learn meteor mash.
And now she's upset and feels like the whole day was a waste
