Oh yeah btw, a bug I've noticed - if you copy, say, a Wikipedia or Facebook image link (One that has ?blah=blah stuff after the actual image URL), and try to upload via the "upload from URL" feature, it doesn't work. Did you try removing the "blah blah" stuff after the file extension? Make sure the link ends with .jpg or whatever file extension it has. Yes, if you remove that stuff, it works fine.
