Even a 9-year-old would understand that uniting the world under one government would mean much less regulations to bother global corporations. Which is why they hate nationalism, which is governments protecting their people from global corporations and encouraging business within the nation. (Among a million other reasons.) But governments DONT protect their people from global corporations, and I guess I dont understand why you think they do. As it stands, whether you like it or not, the internet and high-speed methods of travel make international corporations inevitable. And the wealthiest corporations use nationalism as a means of sparking competition between nations in order to get themselves the best possible deal.
