It's because she has all of the success with none of the effort. It's always been a common problem with second-generation leaders, whether in business or in politics/nobility/kingdoms. When you're handed everything without doing the things that were necessary to earn it, you tend to be blind to the pitfalls (because you never had to avoid them, or recover after falling into them). She has all of the ego, but none of the cunning.

It's also because they have contempt for their audience. It's the same with the Saudi Arabia thing - their attitude is, if they keep their heads down, people will eventually forget and forgive because we have the attention spans of goldfish. And most of the time, they're generally right to feel that way. It's why they tend to double down and push back harder every time there's fan outrage about almost anything (like Saudi Arabia, or the Moolah deal a few months ago) - because experience tells them that they can get away with almost anything as long as they're determined enough and resolute enough (ie, the same logic behind why they will push Roman Reigns forever).
