| Mr Lasastryke 10/26/18 8:03:21 AM #481: | what i don't get is that the people who use the "if tons of immigrants would enter the US they would just leech off the welfare state!!" rhetoric are usually the SAME people who go "TRUMP IS THE GOAT PRESIDENT." isn't trump the no-nonsense, low taxes, "everyone should get a job" president? why the fuck would he hand out welfare money to people who don't deserve it - the people who can work but simply don't want to? if immigrants come to the US just to leech off the welfare state, you can bet your ass the majority of them will get a job when they don't receive money from the government and they're unable to feed themselves and their children. the anti-immigration people have to be consistent. either the "the immigrants are just going to sit on their asses while the taxpayer pays for them!" argument is wrong or it is right. and if it's right trump isn't the "GOAT president" - he's a shit president who is doing nothing to fix the problems of the welfare state. you can't have it both ways. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
