Ok, so we both have stats. I already expected that. Which is why I suggested you merely use common sense to give you the obvious answer hence an easy example for you. The only crime that the punishment might not phase is drug charges and that's only because addicts gonna addict


20 of the top 25 states that lead the US in murders have the death penalty.

11 of the 25 States with the lowest murder rates have it.

How's it deterring crime?
