Crusader Kings 2's biggest and best-looking expansion is coming out in just a week! I tend to do write-ups for my irl friends, but I thought it would be fun to do something for the internet as well. Note that I tend to role play, so I may not always make the "best" choices, however I am generally competent enough at the game that I won't lose all my land to hoards.

You don't need prior knowledge of CK2 to participate. All you need is a name. When all is said and done, I will create a new topic with the write-ups if this topic has purged by then.

I will be playing as one of the Pagans so I can reform their religion. If there's enough interest in this topic, I may just poll you guys to see which ones you want.

What I plan to do is name my heirs after the names people give me in this topic. I will generally try to go in order (i.e. the first person to post will be my heir, the second person will be the first person's heir, etc.) but until you get a bit further into the game, you don't always have control over it. Thus the game may skip a person or two, but I'll eventually get the succession laws under control.

NOTE that I will play with Full Status of Women on so I'll likely have more women than a normal game would have. If you don't want a girl named after you, say so, but be aware you might be skipped until a male heir comes along.

Also note that I play with all DLC EXCEPT Conclave which I hate and Jade Dragon which I just don't care about. I may also turn off the Aztec and/or Mongol Invasions depending on where we're at. Because I don't have Conclave, I'm using the old child-raising system (which I prefer anyway) and therefore I'll get more control over heir traits.

Regarding role-play preferences, this is more aimed toward people who know about CK2 and I will attempt to raise and play your character with a certain role in mind i.e. stewardship focus, intrigue focus, religious focus, war focus, etc. If you want me to try to get into a secret society, say so here. I may not succeed with this 100% of the time because the game often has its own ideas before I get control of a character.

I can only promise that I'll get to the first 10 people who post (I have no idea how popular this will even be. If I only get 5 people, then I'll double you guys, I guess). I may go longer depending on how popular this is and how I feel after playing 10 generations.
