I can't blame them considering he is a violent murderer, but it is still fun to bring him up from the depths of the WWE abyss once a decade or so. tbh, it's kinda ridiculous, especially since some of the WWE's other murderers haven't received similar censor, like Jimmy Snuka who was allegedly helped by Vince with the cover-up. The Wave Master posted... What a few people fail to remember is that in their haste to honor Benoit the Monday after his murder/suicide, on Raw Vince and the production staff created a Benoit tribute show. It was basically 3 hours of WWE celebrating the life of a horrible killer. That's the problem when you react right away before the facts come out. And, to some extent, the concussions that Benoit received while working for the WWE likely played some role in his mental health issues. The Wave Master posted... That's my favorite Benoit memory, and why I smile when I think of Benoit.
