That kind of makes perfect sense - Vince has always been the sort of person who only cares about morality when PR comes into play. If you can't PROVE Snuka was involved, then he clearly wasn't, QED. With Benoit, there was literally no time to spin and no way to cover up, so they had to fall in step with the outrage. It could be worse, though. For all his shenanigans, I'm pretty sure Vince never went as far as Colon did after the Bruiser Brody incident.
