The idea that Hogan should be exiled forever for an offensive remark he made in private close to 20 years ago is ridiculous, especially when you have other athletes who physically harm something, go to prison for it, and then are re-signed after their release. It's a ridiculous double-standard. The complaint most people seem to have over it is the fact that he hasn't really apologized for it in a way that seems actually contrite, and that his apology basically seemed to boil down to "Man, if you're going to say terrible things, make sure no one is listening and don't get caught." Personally, I don't give a shit about what he said, but then again, I also don't really give a shit about Hulk Hogan at this point either.
