I always found the original Diablo a bit too slow gameplay wise. Your character just moves like he is in molasses, yet the fighting seems to be speed up to 200%, it is really weird.

D2 they fixed that and the game just feels a lot more fluid. I actually liked Diablo 3, but I agree it looked a bit weird with the 3D models. It just had that weird Blizzard 3D art style that I have hated since Warcraft 3.

Also to add, I loved that Blizzard games always worked well on mid-low range PCs. Growing up, it was great that my 5 year old PC at the time could play Diablo on launch day with absolutely no compatibility issues. That used to be a huge problem back in the 90's, but not with Blizzard.
