Which is especially stupid because there were tons of people who bought and sold items for cash on d2 and once blizz tries to get a cut of the action, everyone bitches. People bitched because when the game launched it was entirely built around using the auction house instead of finding loot After level 15 or so I never used a single piece of gear that I found from playing the game.
