Gonna let this gel for awhile. Finally getting a bit of perspective..

But I can hear every art teacher ever saying Draw what you see not what you want to draw in my ear right now.


This drawing has character/personality, but the perspective and proportions are off and are hurting the drawing. A good thing I would suggest in this instance is to use a ruler to lightly draw a line from the eye on the right side on a slight angle towards the left, so that you can bring the eye up to match the angle of the eye on the right side. The nose should move down some more and you can also make the nose less wide. The mouth should also move down a bit. I would also move the ear up some more.

In general, try to think of everything more blocky/boxy:
