PS controller is definitely worse. I can't name one other controller that has both a thumbstick and a D-pad, where I would want to use the thumbstick 99% of the time, where the D-pad is positioned "ahead" of the thumbstick. Sony could have pioneered the current thumbstick locations (not symmetrical) but instead they wanted the D-pad to stay where it was. And now they have a next-to-useless touchpad in the middle that could have just as easily been half of its current size.

I haven't seen many Sony exclusives that I've been interested in. Everything I want to play I can get on Xbox now (including long-running Sony franchises that I don't have to name).

So I get to play all these great games on my Xbox with more powerful hardware and a better controller. Win in my books.

I haven't owned a Nintendo since GC because of the controllers they decided to use. And now they've just kind of really gone downhill. I haven't played a Mario game since 1997. I think that's pretty sad, actually. With that said, I've recently gotten interested in the new console just to play Mario and Smash Bros. Ultimate. Will only use "standard" controllers while it's docked at home, though. Never been interested in handhelds, even though I did own a Game Gear at one point. I may have to pick up a 3DS however if I want to play any Mario games that were released on that.

If I do buy/receive as a gift the Nintendo, I will own all three consoles, finally. I'll probably only play the Nintendo with family and the other two intermittently depending on the game. I still haven't gotten into SotC remake yet because my Xbox takes priority.

I should probably clarify when I said I haven't been interested in many exclusives, yet own SotC. I said a long time ago when I quit Sony (because of their shotty PS2 CD/DVD drives and charging customers $175 to repair something they knew would fail from factory) that the only reason I'd ever buy another PlayStation is if SotC had a sequel. The remake was good/close enough for me so I picked up a PS4 Pro. I've never touched a PS3/game/controller in my life. So I've bought a couple JRPGs and Limited Run titles that can only be found on PlayStation, but none of Sony's claim-to-fame titles like Drake's or The Last of Us.

I'm right, as expected.
