The bittersweet tension between Tomoya and the sisters is really good, and Kyou's VA is super good at getting the emotion across. I think this is the one part where the anime improved on the game simply because they truncated the arc. The part of the arc where Tomoya dates Ryou drags on for wayyyyyyyy too long in the game, especially considering the "payoff" of getting to date Kyou at the end is so short.
