Most people have friends, their own family is probably closer to them than their baby, and then even general acquaintances might be more sad to hear it were they likable. Whereas with the baby the surviving parent might hate my decision and me as a result but outside of that unless someone else actually played a significant role in its life id expect flak only from those sad that the baby was a baby. And that just doesnt mean as much to me. All that is assumptions though naturally. Parents could easily be on their own. But were the scenario involving parents and a baby i actually knew then in most cases i would absolutely want to hear that it was one of the parents that made it out if not all of them could manage. --- ...
