There was no tension, ever.

We all knew from the start that they were going to revive Superman, and he beat Steppenwolf with ease, the final battle had no stakes, no risk, no tension.

This is something Infinity War did way better, the stakes were high as fuck, and we already had seen several fights with Thanos and everyone losing all the time, even Thor's efforts didn't matter in the end.

There also was a lack of proper buildup in JL. They go about recruiting characters that we had to get to know in like a few minutes tops, where as in Marvel, every major character has had atleast one film, and side characters had way WAY more screen time than major characters in JL.

Teh CGI was passable mostly (which is worse than IW) and pretty awful at the worst times. Cyborg is one of the biggest offenders, he constantly feels "out of place", he seems to move really unnatural, and his CGI is way to clean, he sticks out like a sore thumb.

But overal, the biggest offender is the feeling you are left with at the end of the movies.
