I feel awful for the surviving victims and their families of those deceased, but it's like, shit, come on, will there ever be a change to make stuff like this happen less often? Shootings in hospitals have always been more common than you might think. I worked as an EMT in a city called Brockton in MA in 2005 and we had a whole protocol for active shooters in the emergency room. I personally enacted those protocols over a dozen times.
