So, I have 40 sequential 2017 uncirculated $1 bills. The ATM or somebody damaged a few of them though I can tell they havent been in the general public's hands until I got em, though there looks like a knife cut, possible from opening them at the bank on the first 4-5 notes and a frayed edge on a few other bills. They dont have a fancy serial number range, and unless i find out if the errors were somehow caused by the BEP, I'm going to try something out.

Now, before I begin this is mainly for fun. Do I think this will have any sort of impact whatsoever? No.

I want to write a message on each one of these bills before I spend them, to encourage people to NOT write on currency.

There can be several reasons for foreign ink to be on a bill. chop marks, police identifier marks, numbers indiciating something like $200 written on a 20 I assume apart of a stack of $200 at one point. What people can do, to not ruin currency is needlessly write on it or sign up for where's george and stuff like that. Even this one fucker named Madison wrote her name on a bill and i swear ive seen that name a few other times. c'mon kid!!

If there is a valuable bill, you could write on it without knowing and ruin its value. I had at one point a 1950 with a little writing on it, I found a 1934 $50 with writing on it, and a 1990s $50 with writing on it that happened to be a true binary (01111000)....potential value nearly ruined in all cases.

But, I cant think of a concise set of words to convey my message clearly.

What is it I should write on these bills to convey the message of: "dont write on currency cause it could be valuable and it ruins its value"

The words you choose could be used to deface 40 brand new never before seen other hands 2017 caranza/mnuchin $1 serial nos. F13936001A-F13936040A. This is tha fed reserve of atlanta, ga.
