She continues to nationalize her office. Nationalizing the office = Republican win. Constituent service = Democrat win.

She won her district with like 80% of the vote

Crowley was under no threat either in that district. I'm not talking so much about her particular race, but how her platform and what she was saying resonated in other districts in a negative way. Of course if she's being a typical politician, she should only care about herself and her district, but she was also accepting this national mantle by going on Colbert and other programs, and she seems guided by a racial politics that made easy wins in swing districts more contested. I don't think the midterms were a total bust, but there should have been way, way more gains than what happened. And I think a lot of that was forsaking traditional voting bases (particularly white women) for this sort of chest poundy "LET'S SHUT THE FUCKER DOWN" stuff that doesn't land on the kitchen table of likely voters.

Do you have any proof whatsoever that she harmed national races? Or are you going to keep repeating this like a broken record?

Her big slogan "Abolish ICE" is a loser issue. Here's all the polling you need on that. Only 1 and 4 support reform when you reframe it as abolishing ICE. About as many people as believe the Sun goes around the Earth.

"BUT PLURALITY OF DEMOCRATS!!"... barely, and educated white women are a higher priority vote to get in swing suburban districts.

"BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN SAINT CORTEZ LOST IT!!!"... but I mean if you keep centering your now-national campaign on a slogan that is unpopular and tends to provoke either confusion or genuine disgust, yeah I don't think it's the rest of the world that has the problem here.

Ok so do you have any proof that she harmed national races?

Keep moving the goalposts. It's enough to show that one of her campaign slogans is not a winning issue, and it did get play beyond her district. The establishment liberal media figures amplified it, and all it did was help to energize Trump's base.

But I suppose there's more important principles than winning... like losing.

The establishment Dems didnt amplify it at all, why are you lying constantly?
