The thing is, when we die and our body is unable to hold those particles together, our consciousness could very well be carried over to that place where these electrons go, be it a 4th dimension or whatever else. You shouldn't put your coins on some fringe hypothesis involving quantum mechanics of which our current understanding is for shit. Have you ever seen that show Through the Wormhole, narrated by Morgan Freeman? There was a whole episode about this. It is very interesting for sure, but it is not proven to be a fact as you seem to believe. Still, that's what I believe to be the closest to an acceptable explanation.
