I guess that means he should be an axe murderer instead of a noble hero. You implied that Craig's Bond was better than Connery's because Connery's Bond was sexist. I'm saying that, if that early sexism is justification enough to undermine the core aspects of who and what 007 is as a character, then you might as well do the same with Superman on account of that early installment racism. If we have a Bond who doesn't drink, doesn't gamble, doesn't sleep around, and is as suave as a urinary infection, then we might as well have a Superman who goes around beheading people. (Just so long as he's an equal opportunity axe murderer.) God of War is popular. Have Superman chase trends. It worked for Bond when he copied Batman Begins and The Bourne Identity. ...
