| KCF0107 11/21/18 4:08:13 AM #461: | AER: Memories of Old for PC This could vie for my most pleasant surprise of the year (I know it came out last year, but I'm talking about games that I have first played this year). It does have some glaring flaws. The footwork is Wind Waker levels of bad, and while the game overall does a good job at providing visual cues to point you in the right direction if you get lost, the lack of labels on the map and no map while inside a place can get frustrating in the labyrinthine temples, or whatever they are called. That being said, I just loved the mix of exploration and flight. Combine it the excellent sound design, musical transitions, and minimalistic story that uses a combination of environmental and expositional story telling, and you have a very compelling game that never overstays its welcome. --- KCF can't actually be a real person but he is - greengravy https://imgur.com/VfpY7tg ...
