But "use aggro at low ranks" has been true in like every fucking game ever.

In pokemon smogon ladder people use blitz teams to climb the ladder until they are facing competent opponents.

In Starcraft 2, you can rush every game when you're low on the ladder and climb fast.

In every game with a ladder, people at low ranks will try to do weird stuff, so just kill them fast before they can get their weird plans online, and then play for real when you get to high ranks.
