By definition, if it's leaving your body, it's more than 1 atm of pressure. If it was less, then air would rush into your gaping bowels until the pressure equalized. If your sphincter couldn't hold 1 atm of pressure in, then it also couldn't hold it out, and the very air around you would pry you open and delve your chocolaty depths (at sea level, at least).
