Little bit lightweight in some ways, especially the way it dealt with history, but still good. Must've been hard, growing up in East Germany. Also, if you want recommendations on other coming of age films, watch Hanna, Moonrise Kingdom, Y Tu Mama Tambien and Splice. All very enjoyable films, and Hanna is set partly in Germany as well. East Germany was a pretty horrible place. I mean...the oppression. And how they built the Berlin Wall, and claimed it was to "protect" their citizens from the West Germans, and capitalist nations in general. --- It has been 0 days since something interesting happened.
