"Hey if I can hear you, my daughter can hear you, so I'd appreciate if you'd just stop" ...the immediate, knee-jerk reply to this should have been: "Maybe you should have thought of that when you were naming her?" Don't get me wrong, the gate agent is wrong to be making fun of anyone's name because it's kind of tactless in general, but that mother is a complete asshole.
