That depends entirely on who Russia sides with. Russia is already on the side against NATO, which means being against Germany, the US, and Canada. Of course, one of the advantages of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from the Russian point of view is that it further divides German interests from the interests of its allies, but still, Germany isn't about to be on the same side as Russia in any sort of military conflict.
