Topic	How many of you had an Atari 8-bit computer?
dancer62 12/02/18 7:42:21 PM #3:	Started with a Atari 2800 (upgraded 2600 built for Sears) 400 upgraded to 800 specs with full-stroke keyboard, 64k memory card built from a kit, homebuilt composite monitor interface. Tape drive. 64k x1 bit memory chips were $9 each, $81 for 8 bits plus parity chip. Then an 800 and an 810 disc drive. Then a 1050 disc drive. A 1200. A Lynx model 2 A pair of 1040STs 7800 Still have them. Pulled the 400 out last year to play LucasArts Rescue On Fractalus. Still works great from 1984.
