The film was received well by critics and audiences, only on social media do people bitch about it. That doesn't mean the movie is good. Critics can (and usually are) bought out to make good reviews and people were going to see it anyways because Star Wars. I mean if you really want an indicator, look how Solo did. One of the most popular characters in the Star Wars series and his origin story completely bombs all because it followed The Last Jedi. Even Rogue One pulled in great numbers and that was only an answer to a 20 year old Internet meme. --- I am a senior software engineer. If you see me post here, I am tired of writing TPS reports. ...
