I was going to give a personal answer but honestly people here will just attacked me and think I'm some douche bro. I think a lot of it is being able to let go of control. I think a lot of what some guys see as "bad guys" a lot of girls see as confidence and dominance. Society has set up the standard that males are more likely to be dominant in relationships and females submissive. On top of that woman are "competing" with men on a more even playing field in other aspects of life (In the work force for example). So I think a big chunk of it is letting go of that and being a bit more submissive because society and nature still has that expectation for us.

I don't think it's really as much nature as we like to suggest, that's more physical traits. Like pheromones and the way a person carries them selves more so then how they act personality wise. Confidence obviously plays a part in our body language.

I don't know, I've been with a lot of "powerful" woman as a dominate sexual/relationship partner and that's the conclusion I've come to. From doctors, and pharmacists to cops and MMA fighters it all seems to be about giving up control and letting someone else have power over them.

This is a pretty fair explanation and one which seems rather close to the answer.
