It was suggested, at one point, that Hitler became crazy and wanted to invade a lot of Europe because there were problems with his toilet training, when he was a young child. Sounds stupid, I know, but I can believe that. Problems with growing up can cause big problems when you're an adult. He was violently abused by his father, and became overly attached to his mother, perhaps. It would explain why he had problems with his interpersonal relationships with people around him, in the 30s and 40s. It would be hard for any theory to full explain someone like Hitler, of course.
