Well, no, the point isn't to theorize the likelihood of the scenario happening to you. The point is to explore your preferential end result. You say it doesn't matter either way because you won't ever sell it, but surely there is some price point where you would? What if the sealed game was valuable enough to sell and buy the same game, but used, plus one or two other games?

I've never sold any of my games either, but it's great knowing that I have a ton of valuable ones should I ever need or want to. I remember a few years ago, a guy who previously thought he'd never get rid of his collection finally did for $100k or $200k and bought a house for his new family.

No. Not really. I wouldnt. I always say things like I could sell it for a lot. But Id wimp out and not sell it. For many reasons. Also, like streamofthesky said, I usually open my games to try when get home...
